I know I'm not being to presisent when it comes to updating my blog but it's been busy. When its not homework, it's exploring my surroundings. I love vintage shopping here, it's epic.

I can't wait to go home november 9th, i'm going to be there till the 15th so hit up with plans. I miss my friends and family and I miss everything about Chicago. But LA is love. for the first time in my life, I actually love everything about my life.. my friends, LA, my school. I finally have school pride which is ridiculous for me... I even have a FIDM sticker on my car hahaha. This whole time, music is more important to me than ever... Dylan in the morning, Ben Folds in the evening. well i have to cut it short.... class @ 8:30am tomorrow... yikes.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where & why?

I would live in London... it's full of cultural, everything is right under your nose.

for once in my life, the sound of chicago sounds like a plan to me. i miss the sights and sounds of almost getting to see the chicago skyline. for once, i miss being around my annoying little 3 year old niece vicky. what can i do now.... but just wait.

This week has been like every week since i've been here... long and tiring. my friend and i were interning this week with a fidm based designer but it was a headache. my friend got sick and i couldnt go attend the fashion show today but to be honest.. every part of body hurts from so much everything i just want to chill and not do anything for awhile.

i'll update more tomorrow. i'm just going to sit here looking outside my window wishing for closure.

Well this week so far has been not that great. My first day of class on Mondays was rather weird.... it was freezing for one and then I met a girl from Shorewood in my marketing class, though she's been leaving in LA for years she's from shorewood. wow. my teachers for both classes on monday are so funny and genius I love em'. today was so lame.. LA weather was absolutely horrible, i was told that it hasn't rained here since last November. it's rather funny to see people dodging for cover as soon as the rain starts to pour... have these people ever heard of umbrellas? I think not hahaha.

I'm looking forward for dinner at Tart this weekend and possibly the beach since it's going to be amazing out. =) upper 70s and sun is just what i love.

Everytime I update my blog I always try to add pictures from my surroundings but I haven't uploaded them from my iphone yet but tomorrow I will. But i'll leave you with a rather funny picture I found on style.com of a cat with "trendy" clothes on hahahaha & of course, Edie Sedgwick herself.. she's truly a fashion icon. I love her even though she was a drug addict, she didn't a fuck what people thought of her and that's absolutely epic to me (pictured above).

Hello everyone. I am oh so sorry about the lack of updates on this thing, i am truly a terrible blogger. but i hope all are well.. =)

this week has been insane. kind of hard to keep track of everything. i've been keeping my existence in LA fairly low. i guess i'm use to not going out that i just rather hang out at home and listen to some sweet jams... like tonight I'm all about Bob Dylan & Pete Yorn/Scarlett Johannson.

today was dragging... i went out grocery shopping with my friend and we hit up some thrift stores/vintage shops. I bought a sick Iron Maiden shirt and a cute dress (pictures later!). on Melrose. it was amazing.

tomorrow we're hitting up hollywood blvd since its free ya know haha.

school well haven't gone since wednesday since i'm on a monday/wednesday schedule. i'm thinking about switching majors instead of product development going for visual communications we'll seeeee.

But yeah my week has been very uneventful.. as you all know i'm all about enjoying life as it comes. i love the weather its epic and i love sitting outside with starbucks in hand or a bottle of water with my ray bans on just enjoying it. I love LA and all it has to offer i just wish my family and friends were here to enjoy it as well... I'll be back home December 17th till January 6th. I start class the 7th so yeah..

I'm thinking about starting a vintage shop on ebay soon with a friend possibly since the vintage here is amazing.... i could sure use some $$ right now since the job hunt isnt going well.. I don't know...

my roommates... it feels like we're having a falling out... I think im too much a nerd to handle.

Everyday this life is seeming longer and longer. People are mad or angry and are way too excited to finally start class so they don't have to hang out all day at The Grove across the street. But after all we are fashion students at one of the largest schools in America.

I'm so happy I'm not at home right now, I don't want to deal with my family's drama because I've had enough of it.... I'm ready to just concentrate on school and kind of forget of what happened before I came to LA.

Orientation was a doozy today.. woke up at 6am and made it to FIDM around 8am with time to spare.

We got our famous FIDM tote bag to carry all our fun books and supplies (pictured above. I have class on monday and wednesday which isn't bad at all thank god.

After getting tanned today (thanks sun), I'm going to be wearing long cardigans and leggings for a while...

Things are becoming more and more surreal as I sit here on another sunny morning in West Hollywood. My roommates are watching Khole & Kourtney in Miami while I sit at the dinning table drinking my morning coffee.
